This day marks the 7th Year completion of my employment with naukri.com. I had joined this orgn on Dec 2001 without even having a clue that I would be here for so long. It is intersting to wonder what makes a relationship like this tick on for such a long period. I have been fortunate to get the amount of freedom I have got. Have met some wonderful leaders and made quite a number of friends too. With the economic recession at its Best, it has been a little challenging for a while. While I am not sure of what lies ahead, I am Sure that it has been a hell of a ride for the last 7 Years. ;-)

Letters to SAM

I read " My Letter to SAM" by Daniel Gottlieb. Although it was a push from Indu to read this book, i am glad she did that. It is a wonderful account of 12 Letters written by the Grandfather to his grandson. It throws light on lots of worldy virtues and deals with Struggle which happens Inside us. It is a good read and a must read for all parents and to be parents. I also quite liked the Poem at the end of the Book. Have represented the same.

Came across a Blog which actually echoes the feeling of a avg Indian who watched the horror of Mumbai unfolding in their TV sets.

This Blog chides at the different channels which were running from Pillar to Post to show the "Breaking News". A quite Intersting read...

Vaaranam Aayiram

Managed to watch this movie today I had heard mixed reviews of the movie throughout and had gone with minimum expectations. But after the movie ended it made me wonder how foolhardy it would be to believe others opinion on movies on especially those so called " slow ones". Its not quite a classic but My respect for Gautham Menon as a movie maker just seem to be increasing with every movie. In these tested times of values in relationship, I feel these kind movies instill confidence and values and gently leave us with thoughts of " what could have been". I immensly enjoyed this.

With respect to the happenings in Mumbai, enough has been seen, written and talked everywhere. As somebody told in the TV, we sometimes feel so useless, seeing all these Gory Stuff. PC has replaced Shivraj but I suspect anything significant will happen. We have got used to so many things in our life and we will get used to this also... which makes me very very angry.....

Spiritual Bliss

As I have always wondered why do we reach to the almighty only during the time of Distress.?? Is it because we are supremely confident of our Own until we reach a place from where it is difficult to move on or is it a Weakness. And how this degree of reaching out varies from one another..

Well I have never believed in asking anything from the "SOURCE'. I try to keep my prayers simple and sometimes do act like atheist also. I have been to churches where I have seen Hindu gods in Jesus and vice versa. Couple of times I have sat in the church and tried to converse also. But there is that fear of unknown and so I fall in place most of the times...

My Sojourn to Sabarimala begins today and let me see what I leave behind and what I carry forward.

Fading Intersts

Normally I wld be hitting the moon on the prospect of a new series and especially competitive ones. Well tommorrow is the Start of the the England Series and possibly the best England side to have visited Indian Shores for the decade and still the butterflies aren't flying anywhere for me which is a surprise. The possible reasons are 1) Too much of cricket 2) Indian Pitches ( win toss post 325, bat second chase it routines) 3) Indian Ascendancy.
Whether I wld be sucked in durin the course of event is something I dont know but as of nw it is not in the radar... ;-)
