Graffiti on the Wall

I was a huge fan of Chennai Corp's decision to do away with hoarding.. THere was less clutter and the place looked more cleaner and Greener... There were also these drives to beautify overbridges and walls with ancient Paintings and stuff. All sounded well...

I am not sure whether this ban was extended for Posters also. But when I drive today, I see all the walls defaced by Political Parties by writing on the wall and Posters on them. The one which I saw today near Loyola College, had so many political names written in multi colors ( It is the respective Party colours u see). It looked so out of place and bad to see.

If Political parties cant change these ways, I guess Hoardings should be brought back. Atleast they are more creative in nature......
